Bill Kessler, a long time member who won his first tournament last month on Ray Hubbard, decided not to wait so long for his 2nd tournament victory. Using Texas rigged trick worms, Bill positioned his Sprint Bass Boat along the outside edges of buck brush to catch his winning limit of five fish weighing 11.80 pounds on Lake ĎO the Pines on April 14th. He and his partner Lynn Storey captured heavy boat honors and brought Billís payday to $408.00. The weather was beautiful with temperatures ranged from 60 to 80 degrees with light southeast winds. The lake was approximately 7 feet high, which scattered the fish out among the newly flooded areas.
Paul Zukosky weighted in a five fish limit at 10.80 pounds to capture his 2nd consecutive runner-up finish. Paul took home $221.00
Third place went to another hot angler, Randy Kvapil, whose five fish weighed in at 10.44 pounds Ė good for $128.00
New member David Magers had a strong showing in his first Century tournament with a five fish limit weighing 9.53 pounds Ė good enough for 4th place and a $128.00
